The Query tab is used to search, filter, and analyze data related to assets, events, or infrastructure. It allows users to generate customized data views by selecting specific asset types and applying filters or criteria. This is particularly useful for reviewing inventory, tracking maintenance activities, or identifying assets that meet certain conditions.
With the Query tab, users can:
- Select from a wide range of asset classes and events, such as roads, parks, or water infrastructure.
- Build queries to extract targeted data.
- View query results in a grid or map format for easy sorting and analysis.
- Export or print results for reporting or offline use.
- Customize layouts or group data to better understand trends or relationships.
Overall, the Query tab is a powerful tool for turning raw asset data into actionable insights, supporting better decision-making and more efficient asset management.
Who can use this feature?
The viewable layers are dependent on the permission of the logged in user.
Access the Query from the Query tab on the left side of the screen to retrieve records from your database using structured filters:
Query Organization
By selecting the dropdown arrow on the left side of the category, you will be able to filter through events and assets:

Filtering
To filter through the column, you can click on the three lines (hamburger menu) that appear next to the column name when hovered over. Click on the filter icon. There is a search bar at the top, or you can scroll through the options to check or uncheck. For text searching, you will click on the search bar and once completed, click “ok” as shown below:
For date fields, you will have different filtering options such as this year, this month, equals to, and so on. By clicking the dropdown arrow, you can select how you would like the date filtered.

The green column color is an indicator of a filter on that column
To get rid of all filters, click the Clear Filters button shown below:
