Change the Name on Your Account in the Platform

This article walks through how to update your first and last name on your CivicPlus account.

Important Note

Users signing through their organization’s Platform IdP (Identity Provider) cannot edit their First Name or Last Name. Their name will default to what is listed on their IdP.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the Account Service Sign-In screen CivicPlus sign-in page with an email field and Continue button, along with other account login options.

    Note:

    The Account Service Sign-In screen is not the page you use to log into your CivicPlus solution(s). While the screens appear identical, the websites you are directed to are not the same. You must use the Account Service Sign-In link to change the name on your CivicPlus account.

  2. On the Personal Information tab, edit your First Name and Last Name Personal information fields for first and last names.

    Note:

    You cannot change the first name or last name for an external account.

  3. Click Save Changes The Save Changes button on the personal information page.
