Delete a Note

This article will show you how to delete a note in a Code of Ordinances.

Instructions

  1. Log in and navigate to your Dashboard:The dashboard screen of Municode Codification, displaying a variety of search, upload, drafts, notes, notifications, and links.

  2. Locate the Recent Notes section:The Recent Notes section of the Municode Codification Dashboard.

  3. Click Manage Notes:The Manage Notes link is highlighted in the Recent Notes section of the Municode Codification Dashboard.

  4. Select Public, Private, or All to narrow or expand your notes list, if necessary:The Public, Private, and All buttons on the Manage Your Notes screen are highlighted.

    Notes:

    All is the default option, and will show all notes. Public will show public notes, and Private will show private notes.

  5. Click Delete (trash can icon) next to the note you wish to delete:The Delete (trash can) icon of the Manage Your Notes screen is highlighted.

  6. Click Delete? to confirm the deletion:The Delete? confirmation button is highlighted on the Manage Your Notes screen.

    Note:

    Click Cancel to leave the Note as-is.

  7. Your note has been deleted:The Manage Your Notes screen with no notes remaining.
