Recurring License Inspections

This article shows how to create and manage recurring license inspections. Recurring inspections happen on a set cycle. This cycle starts from the last inspection date.

Add a Recurring License Inspection

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Licensing System, expand Recurring Inspections, and select Add Record The expandable menu labeled Licensing System in the left-hand vertical menu, then the option labeled Recurring Inspections, and finally the option labeled Add Record.

  3. Select the Inspection Type from the drop-down The drop down field labeled Inspection Type.

  4. Choose a Business Name from the list to tie the inspection to The drop down field labeled Business Name.

  5. If applicable, select Parcel Number to tie the inspection to an existing parcel record The URL labeled Parcel Number.

    1. On the pop-up screen, Search for the Parcel The text entry fields under the Search Parcels header, and the button labeled Search.

    2. Select the Building Location ID of the parcel you wish to add The parcel I D in the column labeled Building Location I D.

    3. The inspection will populate with the parcel information A sample image of the completed parcel information fields.

  6. Select an Inspection Cycle timeframe from the drop-down. This will set how often the inspection recurs The drop down field labeled Inspection Cycle.

  7. Set the Start / End Date for the recurrence The Start Date and End On Date fields.

    Note:

    Check Never Expires if no end date is needed.

  8. Click Create The button labeled Create.

Manage Pending Recurring Inspections

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Licensing System, expand Recurring Inspections, and select Pending Inspections The expandable tab labeled Licensing System in the vertical left-hand menu, then the Recurring Inspections option, then the Pending Inspections option.

  3. View a list of pending recurring inspections An example image of a list of pending recurring inspections.

  4. Select an Inspection Number to view/edit the license associated with the inspection The inspection number listed in the Inspection Number column.

  5. Select a pending inspection. Then, assign an inspector from the drop-down or click Select Inspector to use the calendar feature The drop down field labeled Select Inspector.

  6. Check Schedule a Time to set the days/times of the inspection The check box toggle labeled Schedule A Time.

  7. Click Update to save changes The button labeled Update.
