Run & Print Reports

This article shows how to run an existing report. It also shows how to print results, including bulk printing. All bulk printing starts inside the report system. The process lets users create a report query. The results from that query can then generate bulk letters or forms.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Reporting and click the applicable category Reporting navigation.

  3. Expand the Existing Reports tab and select the report you want to run Select report.

  4. If needed, configure the report parameters Reports parameters.

  5. Click QueryQuery button.

  6. The results will show below Query results.

  7. To print the report, select a file option and click PrintPrint file.

  8. Bulk Printing:

    1. The bulk print drop-down lists all available forms and letters in the system. These are specific to the report's module. Bulk print drop-down.

      • Example: If the user needs to print bulk permit expiration notices, this applies to all citizens whose permits have expired. The user can create a new report. Or, they can use an existing report, like "All Expired Permits". Then, the user selects which form or letter to print. Since the report was started from the permit module, only permit-related forms will be shown.

    2. Once the form or letter is selected, the user has a choice for the output. They can select either PDF or HTML.

      PDF or HTML.

      • HTML: The HTML option will display each of the forms within the browser window. If specific HTML code was used to create the forms, the user has the ability to add comments or notes to each form before printing. Those comments are not stored in the database files.

      • PDF: Separate pages will be created in the PDF file for each record listed in the query results.

    3. Click Bulk PrintBulk print.
