Link Workflows to Record Types
Linking a workflow to a record type tells the system which review and approval process to use for that record. This step connects the workflow setup to the records staff work with each day, such as permits, licenses, planning and zoning records, or inspections. Once linked, the workflow can route tasks, send notifications, and move the record through the correct process based on the selected record type or subtype.
