Service Category Goals Overview

A Service Category is a predetermined grouping of services with a cost recovery/subsidy level identified for each Service offered by the Organization.

As you are entering your organization's data into Cost Recovery, you can assign a Service Category to each service. Then you can assign a predetermined cost recovery goal to the service with the result showing a fee for the service at the desired cost recovery goal.

Note:

The Service Category Cost Recovery Goals can be pre-set on the Service Category Goals page. However, you may increase or decrease (using the slider) the cost recovery goal when working on the Service Detail screen.

When you click into the Service Category Goal section, you will see a list of the service categories. Here you can use the Goal Column to predetermine the goal percentage.

If you change the goal, it will apply it to every program you enter into that service category. If you edit the goal within a program it will not change the service category goal on this page.

  • Green Arrow: The arrow button will take you to the program menu which will list out all the programs in that service category.
