Cancel a Global Payments Integrated EMV (Card-Present) Transaction

This article will show you all the ways to cancel a card-present transaction after it has already been initiated.

Two Ways to Cancel a Transaction

Pressing either of these 2 buttons will cancel a transaction.

1. Selecting Cancel on the touch screen

2. Pressing the Cancel button on the PIN pad

Use the Back Button

Only the EMV device can be used to cancel a payment, hitting back in the browser will get the device and the POS out of sync.

For example, if you use the browser ‘back’ button when prompted to use the PIN pad.

Your EMV device may still be on this screen.
