This article lists the available default Patterns for HCMS applications. Pattern formatting uses RegEx (Regular Expression).
Default Patterns
Some Patterns will be available by default, these include:
Currency:
Numbers
Dollar sign
Comma
Period
Users do not have to include a dollar sign, comma, or period; this can change from the default setting
If a period is used, there must be two numbers to the right of the period
Email Address:
Must be in email format (Include @ and .)

Decimal grouping (for example, 100,000.99)
Comma grouping (for example, 100,000.99)
Phone Number:
Must be in xxx-xxx-xxxx format
ZIP Code:
Must have at least five numbers
Allows addition of Zip+4 (12345-1234)
Social Security Number:
Must be in xxx-xx-xxxx format

Relative links: Web addresses that are relevant to the current domain
Absolute links: Complete web addresses that contain all elements of the URL
File Transfer Protocol links: Exchanges files between computer accounts
