Below you will find a list of items to double-check to make sure that your configuration inside of Payflow is set up correctly.

Ensure Hosted Pages is Set to Live

When you log in to Paypal Manager, check your Service Summary to ensure that your Hosted Payment Pages are set to Live. If it is not live, you will need to enable it.

Ensure Your API User Has the Right Permissions

The username and login of the API user must have at a minimum API_FULL_TRANSACTIONS. See Payflow's documentation.

IP Address Filtering

If you have IP address filtering turned on, please be sure that you whitelist CivicPlus Payments. For a list of IP addresses, please contact Support.

Invalid Transactions

When you are checking out, if you get an "Invalid Transaction" please check the raw data of the response to determine the cause. If you are seeing "Field format error: Secure Token Not found" in the RESPMSG, it could be two things. Please check the following:

  • On the hosted form setup page (the place where you configure all your hosted form settings), check that the status is set to Live.

  • Check to make sure that you have “Enable Secure Token” set to ‘Yes’.
