Access the Resident Portal

You can access the {{variable.Resident Portal}} by going to the embedded page on your website or the stand-alone Resident Portal site and logging in using Single Sign-On.

The {{variable.Resident Portal}} can also be accessed using the product application switcher on your {{variable.Web Central}} site.

Dashboard

Logged-in users see a personalized dashboard of favorite links and forms as well as the notification lists to which they are currently subscribed. For users who haven't yet bookmarked any content, the respective section will showcase featured items curated by the organization, followed by recently created content. Link Cards

Admin users can create link cards for various categories under the Settings tab. Once created, these link cards will be available for users to access and bookmark.

Forms

The Forms tab in {{variable.Resident Portal}} provides a centralized location for community forms. If you have {{variable.Web Central}}, {{variable.Web Open}}, or {{variable.Process Automation and Digital}}, those forms will automatically sync to your {{variable.Resident Portal}}. You can also add links to third-party forms.

Payment Forms

In addition to Link Cards, the Payments tab in the {{variable.Resident Portal}} provides a centralized location for forms that have payment submission events. Any form with a payment submission event will automatically appear on this tab.

Your {{variable.Resident Portal}} is automatically linked to your other CivicPlus solutions. The following product embeds are available:

Payments (Quick Links): You can create links to important pages on your website or other external sites and organize them using pre-configured categories. For example, you may want to centralize Online Payment links from various pages on your website in the Portal’s “Payments” quick links category. You could then update your main “Payments” link to direct public users to the “Payments” section of the {{variable.Resident Portal}}.
Forms: The consolidated Forms listing in the Resident Portal automatically lists all published forms in your {{variable.Web Central}} Form Center module and {{variable.Process Automation and Digital}} site. Admins can complement this listing with links to external forms, then update the main “Forms” links to direct public users to the “Forms” section of the {{variable.Resident Portal}}. Forms that are configured to take payments also show in the “Payments” category.
Subscription Lists: Resident users can subscribe and unsubscribe to notifications from within the {{variable.Resident Portal}}. You can update your main “Notifications” link to direct public users to the “Subscriptions” section of the {{variable.Resident Portal}}.
