This article walks through how to set up an integration between the Mass Notification System (formerly CivicReady) and the HCMS in Integration Hub.
Important Notes
- When setting up the integration you can choose to automatically publish the alert in the HCMS or have it start in Draft status.
- HTML formatting will not be brought over from CivicReady and will appear as plain text in the HCMS / Web Evolve.
Instructions
- Sign in to your site
- Navigate to the Integrations tab in the Integration Hub
- Select + New Integration
- Click the Simple integration card
- Add a Short Description of the integration
- Select CivicReady as the Trigger and HCMS as the Action
- Select the Application for the trigger and action
- Select the applicable Credentials for each application
- Select Alert Sent from the Trigger Type drop-down and choose the Group from your CivicReady instance that you wish to use when triggering an alert
- Select the HCMS Content Type you wish to add the alert to
- Click Next
- Map fields from CivicReady to the HCMS as needed by dragging and dropping the tiles or typing directly into the field
Note: The available CivicReady fields may differ depending on your custom alert form.- Status: Choose whether to automatically publish the content in the HCMS or have it start in Draft status

Notify Users: If the status is set to Published, you can choose whether or not to send a notification when the alert is triggered. If you want to send a notification, fill out the email/SMS message information.
- Click Next
- View an Overview and Test Instructions for your integration
- Click Save
- Enable your integration using the toggle under the Status column
- Now that the integration is set up, you can send an alert in CivicReady
- The alert will then be sent to the specified HCMS Content Type
