Identify if an RSS Issue is With CivicPlus or a Third-Party Service


Since support CivicPlus is able to provide on third-party applications is limited we may not be able to assist in everything, however if you are not sure if the issue you are experiencing is on CivicPlus or on a third-party with the integration, please feel free to contact us and we can provide the best guidance we are able to.

Here are some common trouble shooting steps to help determine where the issue resides to expedite your support:

  1. Go to your site's domain and place /rss.aspx at the end - for instance:
  2. Find the feed you are trying to integrate
  3. Select the Feed
    • If the page loads without error then the feed is operational and the issue may be with the third-party. Contact the third-party application provider for further support.
    • If an error loads then the issue may be on CivicPlus end and please contact us with the feed you are having issues with

Note: Any RSS feed will only keep 2 weeks of data, so if the posting is set for a date later than two weeks from the existing date, you will not see it on the RSS page, this does not mean that it is not going to get pushed, it will appear on the page when it is within 2 weeks.
