Overview

For Commercial Property Listings, you can add, modify, and delete individual fields for use. (You are unable to make changes to the Residential fields.) You can select the name of the field to be used as well as the type of field that is to be used similar to the Forms Module Fields.

Instructions

  1. Select Modules > Content > Real Estate Locator

  2. Select the Fields tab

  3. Basic Information: allows you to set the fields that the seller will need to use to post a listing. The changes you make here will be reflected on the front side of the website on the Commercial Tab.

    • Required: Makes this field required when the seller is filling out the property information
    • Searchable: Enables the field and allows the site visitor to search listings based on the Options that you provide for each field
    •  +: will allow you to add more Options; x: will remove that option
    • Do Not Use Field” will remove the field from the Search
  4. Building Information: allows you to set the fields that help describe the building. 
    • Required will make that field mandatory for the seller to use.
    • You can add or remove fields by clicking the + or x.
  5. Utility Information: allows you to set Utility Information about each property. 
    • Required will make that field mandatory for the seller to use.
    • You can add or remove fields by clicking the + or x.
  6. Select Save Changes
