Best Practice

  • Place Important Information & Action Items at the Top: Crucial navigation elements and content that calls to action should be placed at the top of any page. Long page content that will likely scroll is fine, as long as it is made obvious that there is more to see below.
    • Reasoning : With a multitude of device sizes in use today, there is no longer an ideal screen size. Webpages are viewed at varying sizes and some information may get missed by a user if not easily accessible at the top of a page.
