Create a Voice Recording

Important Notes

Once a message has been created, you will not be able to further edit the message. You will need to create a new message if you want to make changes.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Posts

  2. Select Voice Recordings on the left

  3. Select New Voice Recording

  4. Record Message Over Phone
    1. Recording Name: Set the display name to keep your recordings organized so that you can reference them appropriately at a later date.
    2. Country: Set the country associated with your phone number.
    3. Phone Number: Set the number you want the service to call so that you can record a message.
      1. Note: Do not include any dashes or formatting with the number (i.e., you will just enter 5555555555).
    4. Draft a Script: If you’d like to draft a script from which to read while recording your message, you may place it here.
    5. Select Call Me
    6. You will receive a call at the given number
    7. Upon answering the call, you will be greated and given a message number. At the beep you will record your message.
    8. When you are done recording, hit # and the message will be read back to you.
    9. You will be prompted to accept or rerecord.
    10. When ready, accept the message and hang up.
  5. Upload Audio File
    1. Recording Name: Set the display name to keep your recordings organized so that you can reference them appropriately at a later date.
    2. Browse to attach an audio file.
      1. Note: The file specifications are .WAV, 16bit, 10MB max size
    3. Select
    4. Note: Voice Recording are per user.
