Email Not Received / Setup / Best Practices

Overview

CivicRec sends mail on behalf of specified email addresses at your domain.

For example: recreation@yourcity.org.

To ensure these emails are received and aren't filtered as spam, your city's IT department should point to CivicRec's Sender Policy Framework (spf) record, which is spf.rec1.com. This is done by adding a TXT record to your domain's DNS zone.

The exact addresses we send from are based on your organizational information in CivicRec, as well as reply-to addresses for facilities, and email addresses associated with staff members.
