Administration Settings Overview

CivicReady released a new user interface for Admin Settings to make it easier and faster for administrators to manage the CivicReady system. 

Once on Network Settings page there are find four tabs*:

Fifth Tab - Location will appear when the Location feature is enabled on the network.

General Tab

Network Settings:

Ability to enable and modify general network options.

  • network branding
  • restrict group creation
  • time zone
  • custom fields
  • enable campuses
  • specific category embeds registration code

Access Settings: 

Ability to customize how users view and access the system.

 
  • Restrict view of system and membership
  • Enable email and subscription restrictions
  • Set default groups

Messaging Settings:

Ability to customize messaging options.

 
  • Default messaging options
  • Default phone designation
  • Network caller ID for text to speech and voice messages
  • Custom footer and ad-hoc messages settings
  • Phone digest daily email 

Integration Settings: 

Customize options for cross systems integration.

 
  • HTML embed and RSS options
  • Database Integration processing styles
  • Third-party system(s) integration options

Social Media Settings: 

Customize social media integration.

 
  • Facebook and Twitter 
  • Social Media settings 

API Settings:

Enable and customize your API suite access.

Locations Tab

*Locations Tab will appear when the Location feature is enabled on the Network Settings.

  • Available Locations
  • Ability to add location
    • manually
    • via .CSV file
  • Location Coded Name
  • Delete Location*

Note: It is possible to edit Location Name or delete a location only if no groups or users are associated to that location. Please refer to the following article on more information about Locations
