Move a Document

Instructions

  1. Select Modules > Content > Document Center.
  2. Select the folder that contains the item you wish to move.
  3. Find the document/file you want to move and select Actions > Move.
  4. A box will appear to allow you to select the folder that you want to move the document to
  5. Click on the desired destination folder
  6. Click the move document(s) button
  7. Repeat this process for any documents that need to be moved.

If you have several documents in the same folder that all needs to be moved:

  1. Select Modules > Content > Document Center.
  2. Select the folder that contains the item you wish to move.
  3. Check the box to the left of each of the documents that need to be moved
  4. Toward the top of the page, you will see a bulk actions button, click it
  5. Several buttons will appear, click the move button
  6. A box will appear to allow you to select the folder that you want to move the document to
  7. Select the desired destination folder
  8. Click the move document(s) button
  9. Repeat this process for any groups of documents that need to be moved.  

Note: You are not able to move document folders and you are not able to move images within the Image Repository. If you do have a folder that is in the wrong location it is recommended to add a new folder in the correct location, moving all of the documents from the bad folder to the good one, then delete the folder that is in the wrong spot.
