Configure Portal with the Web Central Portal Module

This article shows how to enable CivicPlus Portal on your Web Central site and add a linked page to the front end of the Portal module. 

 

 

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Modules > Portal
    modules - portal
  2. Select the Properties tab
    properties
  3. Scroll down and check Enable Portal
    enable portal
  4. If needed, change the Default Page for your Portal
    default page
  5. Click Save Changes
    save changes
  6. Navigate to the Homepage

  7. Turn Live Edit On
    live edit on
  8. Select Add Page under the applicable section
    add page
  9. Add a Title, such as "View My Portal"

  10. Check Linked Page
    linked page
  11. Add /portal as the Link
    add link
  12. Click Create Page
    create page
  13. Select Save and Publish
    save and publish
  14. Click Go There Now
    go there now
  15. The linked page will direct to your Portal
    view portal
