This article will show you how to create and manage Permission Sets in the HCMS (Headless Content Management System). Permission Sets contain Groups pulled from your Organization and Clients you set up in your HCMS. In a Permission Set, you can assign what Roles these groups and clients have for content or assets.
Create a Permission Set
- Navigate to Settings and select Permission Sets:
- Scroll to the bottom, if needed, and enter a Name for your Permission Set:
- Click Add Permission Set:
- Assign Permissions to Groups and Clients
Modify the Name of a Permission Set
Important Note on Modifying Permission Set Names
- The name can only contain:
- Letters
- Numbers
- Dashes
- Spaces
Instructions for Modifying Permission Set Names
- Navigate to Settings and select Permission Sets:
- Click inside the Name box of any Permission Set and make changes:
- Click the Save button:
Delete a Permission Set
This will only delete assigned permission levels per Permission Set, it will not delete any Groups or Clients.
- Navigate to Settings and then select Permission Sets:
- Click the trash can icon next to the permission set you wish to delete:
- Reply Yes to the pop-up that asks Do you really want to remove this Permission Set?:
