This article will demonstrate troubleshooting tips post-setup of CSG Forte payment terminals.
CivicPlus team members will help troubleshoot issues with API (application program interface) connectivity and API errors. However, CivicPlus Support is not permitted to troubleshoot terminal errors from your payment terminal. Those errors should be reported to your IT department, CSG Forte, or hardware manufacturer.
Before following the steps in this guide, please complete the setup process.
Run the Device Driver as an Administrator
- Right-click on the program and click Run as administrator
- It will ask you if you want to set up the eDynamo, select Yes
- If you have already installed the drivers you should be prompted with the following, select Repair and then Finish
- Run a test transaction, you should see a screen similar to the following
