CivicPlus Portal Legislation Settings

Administrators will see a Legislation tab on the CivicPlus Portal Settings page. From here, admins can choose what code populated from their Online Code Hosting instance to show in their Portal, feature code, and add tags.

Hide / Show Code

1. Navigate to the page with your embedded Portal or access the stand-alone Portal
2. Select Settings in the left-hand toolbar
   
3. Click the Legislation tab
   
4. To hide a legislation code so it will no longer show in your Portal, click Actions and choose Hide in Portal
   
5. The meeting will now have an X in the Visible column and it will no longer show on the public Legislation page
   
6. To add the code back to your Portal, click Actions and choose Show in Portal

Feature Code

1. Navigate to the page with your embedded Portal or access the stand-alone Portal
2. Select Settings in the left-hand toolbar
   
3. Click the Legislation tab
   
4. Select Actions and choose Feature in Portal next to a code
   
5. This will feature the code at the top of the public Legislation tab

Add Tags to a Code

1. Navigate to the page with your embedded Portal or access the stand-alone Portal
2. Select Settings in the left-hand toolbar
   
3. Click the Legislation tab
   
4. Select Actions and choose Edit next to a code
   
5. Scroll down and type or select an existing Portal Tag
   
6. Click Update
