Card Verification Code (CVC), also known as CVV (Card Verification Value) or CVV2, is a three- or four-digit number printed on credit and debit cards. - Visa, MasterCard, and Discover: The CVC is the three-digit number located on the back of the card near the signature strip.
- American Express: The CVC is the four-digit number located on the front of the card, usually on the right side above the card number.
