Notifications appear in the Pending Messages tab if the content is scheduled to be published in the future or because the notification is scheduled to be sent a specified number of days in advance of a date. Users can also modify the schedule and cancel pending messages.

Modify a Pending Message
- Sign in to your organization's Notifications site (http://notifications.civicplus.com/[orgname]/admin)
- Navigate to the Pending Messages tab
- You can also access it by going to Subscription Lists, selecting the Action Menu, and selecting Pending Messages for a list

- Click Actions and select Modify next to the pending message
- Update the Notification settings
- Do not send: Choose if you don't wish to send a notification
- Send now: Select to send the notification now

Send based on eventdate field: Send the notification based on the date of your itemNote: This option will only display for Event Content Types.
- Click Next
- Configure Notification DetailsNote: These will vary depending on the option selected.
- Email Subject: Modify the subject line for the email notification
- Email Introduction: Add an introduction to your email notification, the content of the item will be displayed below this
- Text Message (SMS): Edit the text message that will be sent. Long messages will be split into multiple text messages and a link to the item will be included at the end of your message.
- Click Done
Cancel a Pending Message
- Sign in to your organization's Notifications site (http://notifications.civicplus.com/[orgname]/admin)
- Navigate to the Pending Messages tab
- Select Actions and select Cancel next to your desired message
- Click OK on the pop-up that says Are you sure you want to cancel this notification?
