Import Custom Dashboards in Universal Analytics

These templates have been created to assist in getting started with the reporting in Google Analytics. We took some of our top requests and created a dashboard and reports that can be imported.

These tools can be modified in order to better fit your needs.

Instructions

  1. Once logged in to your Google Analytics account, click to expand the Customization menu: Google Analytics, User Home Page, Customization Section Menu.

  2. Click the Dashboards option: Google Analytics, User Home Page, Customization Menu, Dashboards Option.

  3. Click the Create button: Google Analytics, Customization Dashboards, Create Button.

  4. Click the Import from Gallery button: Google Analytics, Customization Dashboard, Create Dashboard Dialog Window, Import from Gallery Button.

  5. Type CP Evolve into the Search field: Google Analytics, Dashboard, Import from Gallery, Search Field CP Evolve Entered.

  6. Locate the dashboard you wish to import and click the Import button: Google Analytics, Import from Gallery, Completed Search with Import Button.

  7. On the Dashboard Configuration screen, you will be asked where you want this import placed. The View dropdown should default to All Web Site Data (the correct option) unless you have other analytics accounts you'd like this dashboard placed within. Using the second field, you may change the title of the dashboard or keep it the same

  8. Click the Create button to import and run the dashboard for your site: Google Analytics, Dashboard Configuration, Window Create Button.

  9. You can now customize the widget and the layout, change date ranges, share export, and more. The dashboard is now located under the Dashboards section: Google Analytics, User Home Page, Customization Dashboards with New Dashboard Highlighted.
