Roles can be configured to have different levels of permissions. Once created, roles can be assigned to users.

Preset Roles

The Manage Roles page, on which roles can be added, configured, or deleted.

Super Admin

Individuals who have every permission available within their system. They can manage other administrators with permissions and have ultimate control over the Mass Notification system.

General Admin

General Admins are administrators whose permissions are similar to a Super Admin’s permissions. However, these Administrators do not have permission to set up other administrators or other system-level settings. A General Admin can manage contacts and groups, and send alerts and polls. General Admins can be restricted to the groups they need to have access to.

Send Only

Send-only users can only send alerts and polls. Send Only Admins can be restricted to the groups they need to have access to.

Mobile User + Task Lists

This is a limited Admin role that allows the admin to be added to Secure Chats using the CivicReady Mobile App and be assigned to Task Lists.

Support Admin

This is a role used by CivicPlus and should not be assigned to administrators. Please do not delete the existing administrator accounts assigned the Support Admin role.
