This article will show you how to set up your computer's internet browser to optimize your Agenda and Meeting Management Essential solution, experience. You will specifically learn how to bookmark the Sign In screen, allow pop-ups, and disable Grammarly (if applicable) in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers.

Google Chrome

Bookmark the Sign In Page in Chrome

You can bookmark the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page to add it as a browser favorite and make it easy to return to in the future.

  1. Navigate to the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page:

  2. Click the gray star icon in the right corner of the browser’s address bar to bookmark the current tab:

  3. Edit the Name and Folder location for the bookmark, if desired:

    The Bookmark added Name and Folder fields.

  4. Click the Done button:

    Note:

    You can click the Remove button to delete this bookmark.

  5. The Sign In page has been bookmarked and can now be accessed from the bookmarks bar (if you have it set to show) and the bookmark manager:

Allow Browser Pop-Ups in Chrome

Before submitting agenda items and file attachments in Agenda and Meeting Management Essential, you will need to make sure your browser allows the site to send pop-ups.

  1. Click the three vertical dots icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser to open the More menu, then select the Settings option:

  2. Select Privacy and security in the left navigation menu:

  3. Select Site Settings:

  4. Navigate to the Content section:

    The Content section.

  5. Select Pop-ups and redirects:

    The Pop-ups and redirects option.

  6. Navigate to the Customized behaviors section:

    The Customized behaviors section.

  7. Click the Add button next to Allowed to send pop-ups and redirects:

    The white, oval Add button.

  8. Enter the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page URL into the Site field:

  9. Click the Add button:

  10. The Agenda and Meeting Management Essential URL has been added to the list of websites allowed to send pop-ups and redirects:

Disable the Grammarly Browser Extension in Chrome

If you typically use the Grammarly browser extension, it is recommended that you disable it when using Agenda and Meeting Management Essential. It can cause conflicts when using Workflow data entry screens.

  1. Navigate to the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page:

    Note:

    You can also complete this process if you have already logged into Agenda and Meeting Management Essential.

  2. Click the green Grammarly icon in the toolbar to the right of your browser’s address bar:

  3. Click the toggle next to Check for writing suggestions on meetings.municode.com so that the feature is turned off:

  4. Grammarly has been disabled for the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential site:

Mozilla Firefox

Bookmark the Sign In Page in Firefox

You can bookmark the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page to add it as a browser bookmark and provide an easy way to return to it in the future.

  1. Navigate to the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page:

  2. Click the gray star icon in the right corner of the browser’s address bar to bookmark this page:

  3. Edit the Name and Location for the bookmark, if desired:

  4. Click the Save button:

    Note:

    You can click the Remove bookmark button to delete this bookmark.

  5. The Sign In page has been bookmarked and can now be accessed from the bookmarks toolbar (if you have it set to show) and the bookmark manager:

Allow Browser Pop-Ups in Firefox

Before submitting agenda items and file attachments in Agenda and Meeting Management Essential, you will need to make sure your browser allows the site to send pop-ups.

  1. Click the three horizontal lines icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser to open the Application menu:

  2. Select the Settings option:

  3. Select Permissions and data in the left navigation menu:

  4. In the Permissions section, locate the Block pop-ups and third-party redirects checkbox and take action if needed:

    • If the checkbox is unchecked: Pop-ups are already allowed, and no further action is needed

    • If the checkbox is checked: Pop-ups are blocked, and you will need to add Agenda and Meeting Management Essential as an exception:

      1. Click the Manage exceptions option:

      2. Enter the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page URL into the Address of website field:

        The Address of website field on the Allowed Websites dialog.

      3. Click the Allow button:

        The gray Allow button below the Address of website field.

      4. Click the Save Changes button:

        The blue, rectangular Save Changes button in the lower-right corner of the Allowed Websites dialog.

      5. The Agenda and Meeting Management Essential site has been added to the list of sites allowed to open pop-ups

Disable the Grammarly Browser Extension in Firefox

If you typically use the Grammarly browser extension, it is recommended that you disable it when using Agenda and Meeting Management Essential. It can cause conflicts when using Workflow data entry screens.

  1. Navigate to the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page:

Favorite the Sign In Page in Edge

You can favorite the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page to add it as a browser favorite and provide an easy way to return to it in the future.

  1. Navigate to the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential Sign In page:

  2. Click the gray star icon in the right corner of the address bar to favorite this page:

    The Add This Page to Favorites icon.

  3. Edit the Name and Folder for the favorite, if desired:

    The Name and Folder fields on the Favorite Added dialog.

    Note:

    You can click the More button to have the Favorite added dialog expand and show all folder options at once.

  4. Click the Done button:

    The black, rectangular Done button below the Folder field.

    Note:

    You can click the Remove button to delete this favorite, if needed.

  5. The Sign In page has been favorited and can now be accessed from the Favorites bar (if you have it set to show) and the Favorites manager:

Allow Browser Pop-Ups in Edge

Before submitting agenda items and file attachments in Agenda and Meeting Management Essential, you will need to make sure your browser allows the site to send pop-ups.

  1. Click the three horizontal dots icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser to open the Settings and More menu:

  2. Select the Settings option:

  3. Select the Privacy, search, and services option in the left navigation menu:

  4. Select the Site permissions option:

  8. Enter the Agenda and Meeting Meeting Management Essential Sign In page URL into the text box:

  9. Click the Add button:

  10. The Agenda and Meeting Management Essential site has been added to the list of sites allowed to send pop-ups and redirects:
