This article will show you how to set up your computer's internet browser to optimize your Agenda and Meeting Management Essential solution, experience. You will specifically learn how to bookmark the login screen, allow pop-ups, and disable Grammarly (if applicable) in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers.

Google Chrome

Bookmark the Login Page

You can bookmark the Meetings Essential login page to add it as a browser favorite and make it easy to return to in the future.

  1. Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page The Log In page.

  2. Click the white star icon in the right corner of the address bar to bookmark the current tab The bookmark this tab icon.

  3. Edit the Name and Folder location for the bookmark, if desired The Name and Folder fields.

    Note:

    Click More... to have the Edit bookmark box expand and show all folder options at once.

  4. Click Done The blue, rectangular Done button.

    Note:

    Click Remove to delete this bookmark.

  5. The login page has been bookmarked and can now be accessed from the bookmarks bar (if you have it set to show) and the bookmark manager The bookmarked star icon.

Allow Browser Pop-Ups

Before submitting agenda items and file attachments in Agenda and Meeting Management Essential, you will need to make sure your browser allows the site to send pop-ups.

  1. Click the three vertical dots icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser to open the More menu The three dots More menu.

  2. Select Settings The Settings option.

  3. Select Privacy and security in the left menu The Privacy and security option in the left navigation menu.

  4. Select Site Settings The Site settings option.

  5. Scroll down to the Content section The Content section.

  6. Select Pop-ups and redirects The Pop-ups and redirects option.

  7. Scroll down to the Customized behaviors section The Customized behaviors section.

  8. Click Add next to Allowed to send pop-ups and redirects The white, rectangular Add button.

  9. Enter the Meetings Essential login page URL into the Site box The Site box on the Add a site pop-up.

  10. Click Add The blue, rectangular Add button on the Add a site pop-up.

  11. The Agenda and Meeting Management Essential site has been added to the list of sites allowed to send pop-ups and redirects The website added to the allow list.

Disable the Grammarly Browser Extension

If you typically use the Grammarly browser extension, it is recommended that you disable it when using Agenda and Meeting Management Essential. It can cause conflicts when using Workflow data entry screens.

  1. Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page The Log In page.

    Note:

    You can also complete this process if you have already logged into Agenda and Meeting Management Essential.

  2. Click the green Grammarly icon in the toolbar to the right of your address bar The Grammarly icon.

  3. Click the toggle next to Check for writing suggestions on meetings.municode.com so that the feature is turned off Grammarly check feature toggle.

  4. Grammarly has been disabled for the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential site The Grammarly off icon.


Mozilla Firefox

Bookmark the Login Page

You can bookmark the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential login page to add it as a browser favorite and provide an easy way to return to it in the future.

  1. Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page The Log In page.

  2. Click the white star icon in the right corner of the address bar to bookmark this page The Bookmark This Page icon.

  3. Edit the Name, Location, and Tags for the bookmark, if desired The Name, Location, and Tags fields.

  4. Click Save The bookmark Save button.

    Note:

    Click Remove bookmark to delete this bookmark

  5. The login page has been bookmarked and can now be accessed from the bookmarks toolbar (if you have it set to show) and the bookmark manager The bookmark saved star.

Allow Browser Pop-Ups

Before submitting agenda items and file attachments in Agenda and Meeting Management Essential, you will need to make sure your browser allows the site to send pop-ups.

  1. Click the three horizontal lines icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser to open the Application menu The Application menu.

  2. Select Settings The Settings menu option.

  3. Select Privacy & Security in the left menu The Privacy & Security option.

  4. Scroll down to the Permissions section The Permissions section.

    Note:

    You can also search for Permissions in the search box

  5. Click Exceptions... next to the Block pop-up windows option The Exceptions button.

  6. Enter the Meetings Essential login page URL into the Address of website box Thew Address of website field.

  7. Click Allow allow button

  8. Click Save Changes The Save Changes button.

  9. The Agenda and Meeting Management Essential site has been added to the list of sites allowed to open pop-ups

Disable the Grammarly Browser Extension

If you typically use the Grammarly browser extension, it is recommended that you disable it when using Agenda and Meeting Management Essential. It can cause conflicts when using Workflow data entry screens.

You can favorite the Agenda and Meeting Management Essential login page to add it as a browser bookmark and provide an easy way to return to it in the future.

  1. Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page The Log In page.

  2. Click the white star and plus-sign icon in the right corner of the address bar to favorite this page The Add Favorite button.

  3. Edit the Name and Folder location for the favorite, if desired The Name and Folder boxes.

    Note:

    Click More to have the Favorite added... box expand and show all folder options at once.

  4. Click Done done button

    Note:

    Click Remove to delete this favorite.

  5. The login page has been favorited and can now be accessed from the favorites bar (if you have it set to show) and the favorites manager The favorite added icon.

Allow Browser Pop-Ups

  6. Click Add next to the Allow section add button

  7. Enter the Meetings Essential login page URL into the Site box The Site URL.

  8. Click Add add button

  9. The Agenda and Meeting Management Essential site has been added to the list of sites allowed to send pop-ups and redirects The site added messages.
