This article will show you how to add, edit, reorder, and delete Text Snippets. The Text Snippets feature allows you to insert words or phrases into your Items, Agendas, Minutes, Emails, and Tasks from a pre-determined list of text snippets, rather than typing text over and over.
Important Notes
You have the option to create and manage Item Snippets, Minutes Snippets, Agenda Script Snippets, Email Snippets, and Task Snippets. The fields and creation process are the same for all of them. The processes for creating and managing item snippets are shown in the sections below.
You can use group snippets to organize your text snippets into customizable subgroups. For more information about group snippets, view the Create and Manage Group Snippets article.
Add a Text Snippet
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option
Click the Meetings tile
Click the Text Snippets tile
Scroll to the desired snippet section on the Text Snippets page

You have the option to create new Item Snippets, Minutes Snippets, Agenda Script Snippets, Email Snippets, and Task Snippets. The fields and creation process are the same for all of them.
Click the New [Type] Snippet button
Note:
The text displayed on the New Snippet button will depend on the snippet section you have scrolled to in step 5.
Fill in the Add New [Type] Snippet fields
Snippet Name (required): Enter a name for the text snippet
Snippet Text: Enter the text of the text snippet
Note:
You can use the paragraph formatting and text formatting tools to format the display of the snippet text as desired.
Snippet Group: Select the snippet group you wish to assign the snippet to, if desired
Click the Add New [Type] Snippet button
The text snippet has been created
Edit a Text Snippet
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option
Click the Meetings tile
Click the Text Snippets tile
Scroll to the desired snippet section on the Text Snippets page

Select the Edit tool (purple pencil icon) to the right of the text snippet you wish to edit
Modify the snippet
Snippet Name (required): Edit the name of the snippet, if desired
Snippet Text: Edit the content of the snippet text, if desired

You can use the paragraph formatting and text formatting tools to format the display of the snippet text as desired.
Snippet Group: Select the snippet group you wish to assign the snippet to, if desired
Click the Save Changes button
The text snippet has been edited
Reorder Text Snippets
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option
Click the Meetings tile
Click the Text Snippets tile
Scroll to the desired snippet section on the Text Snippets page

You have the option to create new Item Snippets, Minutes Snippets, Agenda Script Snippets, Email Snippets, and Task Snippets. The fields and creation process are the same for all of them.
Click the Edit Order button
Click and hold the grid icon(s) to the left of the desired snippet(s) and drag and drop the snippet(s) into the preferred order
Click the Save Changes button to save your preferred order
The text snippets have been reordered
Delete a Text Snippet
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option
Click the Meetings tile
Click the Text Snippets tile under the Templates heading
Scroll to the desired snippet section on the Text Snippets page
Click the Delete button (red trash can icon) to the right of the text snippet you wish to delete
Click the Delete [Type] Snippet button on the popup that appears to confirm the deletion
The text snippet has been deleted
