Change a Password for Another User

Administrators can no longer change the passwords of other users. However, users with Administrator status can send emails prompting users to reset their own passwords. This article will show you how to prompt users to change their passwords as an Administrator.

Important Notes

  • You must be an administrator to prompt users to change their passwords.

  • Administrators can only reset another user's password from the User Settings page if they have already verified their account and completed the initial setup. If verification and setup are not yet complete, the user will need to request a password reset for themselves using the password reset link on the login page after they enter their email address.
