Playback
The Event Media playback section includes media playback metrics, a built-in media player, and an editable Tags field.

Playback Metrics
The playback metrics area displays viewership information for the media associated with an event. The following metrics are tracked by CivicPlus Media:
Playback Metric | Description |
|---|---|
Public Portal Plays | The number of times the media was played from the Public Portal. |
Total Plays | The total number of times the media was played across all supported viewing locations. This value includes Public Portal and Board Portal plays, internal plays within the Agenda and Meeting Management Select Admin interface, embeds, and any additional playback sources. |
Total Time | The total time for media playback in 00:00:00 format (Hours:Minutes:Seconds) |
Timestamps | The number of timestamps that have been applied to the media within CivicPlus Media |
Media Player
You can use the built-in media player to the right of the playback metrics to watch or listen to media that has been added to an event. The media player’s controls allow you to play and pause the recording, set the volume, select a playback speed, and quickly download the media file and any associated media files.
Tags
You can use the Tags field to add an existing system tag to your event media. Adding tags will make it easier to find your media in the Admin Portal and Public Portal by making the tag a searchable keyword for the media file.

The Event Media section also includes a Media File area with additional details about the uploaded media file.

The Media File section includes the following, when available
