Live Meeting Manager and Board Portal Updates

Enhanced Inactive User Visibility in Board Portal

To streamline board management, Board Portal users now have a way to quickly identify inactive users while adding, editing, or reordering board members. This enhancement provides a visual indication for inactive users, making it easier to ensure accurate board configurations.

  • Functionality Summary: Inactive users are now visually distinguishable from active users throughout the Boards area, with a light gray background and a "User Slash" icon to the left of their avatar. This feature also includes an accessibility-compliant tooltip reading "Inactive" for additional clarity.

  • User Benefits: Board managers can save time and reduce errors by immediately identifying inactive users when updating board rosters, ensuring efficient and accurate management.

  • Accessibility Compliance: This enhancement meets WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, with a 4.5:1 contrast ratio for visibility, screen reader compatibility, and hover tooltips for inactive users.

Enhanced "Join Meeting" Access Control for Board Portal

To improve meeting security and user experience, the "Join Meeting" option in the Board Portal is now restricted exclusively to Board Members during active meetings. This change prevents non-Board Members from accessing meetings directly through the portal, ensuring appropriate participation access.

  • Functionality Summary: The "Join Meeting" option is visible only to users who are Board Members of the active meeting. Non-Board Members will not see this option on the Board Portal.

  • User Benefits: This enhancement strengthens meeting access control, reducing interruptions and preserving meeting confidentiality by ensuring only intended participants have access.

Performance Updates

We have successfully analyzed and optimized the legacy API endpoints for meetings and events by implementing paging and restructuring queries, significantly reducing thread count spikes during high-load scenarios.
