Set the Default Landing Page After Item Creation

Once you create a new item, the system will automatically take you to one of five different pages that contain specific details about that item. These pages are Item Fields, Item Files, Item Tasks, Item Approvals, and Item Timeline. This article will guide you on how to choose the default landing page you want to be directed to after creating a new item.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option:

  3. Click the Meetings tile:

  4. Click the Meeting Types tile:

  5. Click the Edit tool (purple pencil icon) to the right of the meeting type you would like to change the default item creation landing page for:

  6. Navigate to the Item Options section:

  7. Select the desired landing page under the Initial Item Default Page header:

    • Item Fields: Be directed to the item's Item Fields page after item creation

    • Item Files: Be directed to the item's Item Files page after item creation

    • Item Tasks: Be directed to the item's Item Tasks page after item creation

    • Item Approvals: Be directed to the item's Item Approvals page after item creation

    • Item Timeline: Be directed to the item's Item Timeline page after item creation

  8. Click the Save Changes button to save your changes and stay on the Default Settings page, or click the Save and Exit button to save your changes and return to the Meeting Types page:
