CivicPlus Agent Widget Meets Residents Where They Read

Give visitors an instant answer without sending them on a hunt for it. The new CivicPlus Agent widget lets administrators add a contextual "ask me" button anywhere on a home or interior page, right next to the content it relates to. Set your own button label and a preset question. When a visitor clicks the button, CivicPlus Agent opens right there on the page with that question already answered. There is no searching, no navigating away, and no starting from scratch.

This gives visitors fewer clicks to the answer and more confidence they have found the right information. This feature requires a CivicPlus Agent purchase.

CivicPlus Agent is highlighted among various content module options in a user interface.

FAQ Widgets Can Now Target Subcategories

FAQ widgets just got more precise. Administrators can now narrow a widget's content source down to specific subcategories, not just top-level categories. This makes it easy to show a tightly focused set of questions. For example, you can show only "Household" recycling FAQs on the household waste page, instead of the full Recycling list. You can select multiple subcategories at once. Existing category-based widgets continue to work exactly as they do today, so you don’t need to reconfigure anything unless you want the new precision.

The result: residents land on a page and see only the FAQs relevant to what they are looking at. This means less scrolling, less scanning, and faster answers.
