This article will show you how to add a file to an item in the Archive Center.

Important Note:
The maximum file upload size is 20 {{glossary.MB}}. Use the multiple file upload feature to upload larger files.
The system supports different audio types, but the {{glossary.MP3}} format will give you the widest {{glossary.Browser}} compatibility.
If you wish to use Convert to {{glossary.PDF}}, the file to be converted must be of {{glossary.TXT}}, {{glossary.DOC}}, {{glossary.DOCX}}, {{glossary.HTML}}, {{glossary.HTM}}, {{glossary.XLS}}, or {{glossary.XLSX}} file types.

Instructions

Sign in to your site
Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Archive Center:
Select your desired category:
Select your desired item:
Ensure that you have filled out the basic required fields:
- Display Name: Create a name for your item
- Archive Date: Create a date
Locate and click Choose File:
Select and Open a file from your computer
Click Convert to {{glossary.PDF}} if you uploaded a non-PDF file and want it to be converted to a PDF:
- Only {{glossary.TXT}}, {{glossary.DOC}}, {{glossary.DOCX}}, {{glossary.HTML}}, {{glossary.HTM}}, {{glossary.XLS}}, or {{glossary.XLSX}} files can be converted to PDF
Click a saving option:
- Save: Saves work, does not make it publicly viewable
- Save and Publish: Saves work and publishes to the public (is not available if the item is already published)
