Turn on Navigation Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs allow users to know where they are within a site and to better navigate their experience. These live at the top of your page, above the content area. These are also links, so users can select one of the crumbs to navigate efficiently.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Modules, then Site Tools, and then Design Center:The expanded Modules drop-down menu, with the Design Center option of the Site Tools tab highlighted.

  2. Select Theme Manager:The Design Center module with the Theme Manager option highlighted.

  3. Select the Page Type (Home, Interior, or Simple) you want to add breadcrumbs to:The Layout dropdown menu showing theme options with 'Home' selected.

  4. Select the box that surrounds the navigation breadcrumbs:The Navigation Breadcrumbs box in the Theme Manager of Design Center.

  5. Navigate to the Options tab in the new pop-up window:The Breadcrumbs dialog box with the Options tab highlighted.

    Note:

    If unchecked, breadcrumbs will continue in Design Center, but will not display on the production site.

  7. Click the X to exit the Breadcrumbs pop-up window:The Breadcrumbs options dialog box with the Close (X) icon highlighted.
