Add a Channel

  1. Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site

    Note:

    For Web Central customers, navigate to the Modules menu and on the Content tab, select CivicPlus Video. You will be automatically signed in with your credentials.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Dashboard

  3. Select the Channels tab in the left navigation menu

  4. Click Add Channel in the top right corner of the screen

  5. Fill out the channel fields
    Form to add a new channel with fields for name, description, and logo upload.

    • Channel Name: Add a name for the channel

    • Description: Enter a short description of the channel

    • Channel Logo: Upload a logo image for the channel

  6. Click Add Channel

Edit a Channel

  1. Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site

    Note:

    For Web Central customers, navigate to the Modules menu and on the Content tab, select CivicPlus Video. You will be automatically signed in with your credentials.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Dashboard

  3. Select the Channels tab in the left navigation menu

  4. Click the pencil icon next to an existing channel

  5. Edit the fields, as needed

  6. Click Save Changes

Delete a Channel

  1. Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site

    Note:

    For Web Central customers, navigate to the Modules menu and on the Content tab, select CivicPlus Video. You will be automatically signed in with your credentials.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Dashboard

  3. Select the Channels tab in the left navigation menu

  4. Select the trashcan icon next to a channel

  5. Click Delete on the pop-up that says Are you sure you want to delete the channel?

Get RTMP Broadcasting Details

  1. Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site

  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Dashboard

  3. Select the Channels tab in the left navigation menu

  4. Click the Channel info icon next to a channel

  5. Copy the RTMP URL and Stream Key under Streaming Settings
