Released Enhancements
Accessibility
“See More” Dialog Links: We’ve updated the “See More” links in stacked widgets to better align with accessibility standards and improve usability for all users. Previously, these controls were coded as links with incorrect roles and accessible names, which could cause confusion for screen readers and keyboard navigation. Now, the “See More” link is correctly identified as a button when it opens a dialog, and its accessible name matches the visible label combined with the title of the content.
Monthly Calendar: The monthly calendar widget has been updated to deliver a more accessible and user-friendly experience, especially for those using assistive technologies. These changes make it easier to navigate, understand, and interact with calendar events, ensuring workflows are more predictable and inclusive.
Key improvements:
The "Next" and "Previous" month, week, and day buttons now have accessible names and proper roles, making them easier to identify and use with screen readers.
Week and day information is now announced when navigating or changing months, weeks, or days, so users always know where they are in the calendar.
A new "list view" option has been added to all monthly calendars, providing an alternative, highly accessible way to review events using keyboard navigation.
All event buttons now include role information, further enhancing compatibility with assistive technologies.
The “View Details” link is now a properly labeled button.
The event dialog and its close button have accessible names and roles.
These enhancements mean users can expect a more reliable and predictable calendar experience, with improved support for keyboard and screen reader navigation.
