Assign Permissions for Pages

Important Note:

Default permissions on a page inherit from the available parent page.

You can set rights at the pages menu in order to allow you to both set rights for one page, but also allow you to push rights down to all subpages.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrators | Owners

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the page you wish to set permissions for

  2. Select Page and then PermissionsThe Page button in the left-hand menu, then the Permissions option.

  3. Configure group permissions for the page An example image of Page Permissions settings.

    • Reader: View access only

      Note:

      If the Reader tab appears greyed out and you are not able to check or un-check, that is because the page itself does not have Sign-In required or is otherwise not password protected. The reader is always available on any page that is not password protected.

    • Author: Ability to create and edit items, but cannot publish

    • Publisher: Create, edit, and publish items

    • Owner: Full rights to the page

  4. Changes will automatically save
