Configure Widget Option Sets

Widget Option Sets are used to set pre-defined widget preferences to be used across the site.

Create a New Option Set

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the page you wish to edit

  3. Open the Content tab and select the applicable content The button labeled Content in the left-hand vertical menu.

  4. Drag and drop the content onto your page The content dragged and dropped onto the page.

  5. On the Widgets tab, configure the Widget Format The tab labeled Widget Format, and the Calendar, Event, Link List, Single Image, Slideshow, and Stacked buttons.

  6. Configure the Content Appearance fields The tab labeled Content Appearance and the content appearance options.

    Note:

    The options will differ slightly depending on the selected Content Type and Widget Format.

    • Option Set: If needed, select an existing option set to work from

    • Widget Skin: Select a widget skin option or leave it as the Default

    • Auto-Adjust Columns: If checked, the Widget container will automatically align items within a number of columns that you can set

    • Limit Descriptions: Check to specify the maximum length of a description

    • Field Bank: Drag the content fields to your preferred sections within the widget. Empty widget sections will not be displayed.

    • See More Labels Location: Select where the See More link should be displayed on the widget

    • Hide Loading Placeholders: Choose whether or not to display placeholder items while the widget is loading

  7. Once you have made any necessary changes, click the three-dot menu next to the Option Set drop-down and select Save as New Option Set The three vertical dots to the right of the Option Set dropdown, and the Save as New Option Set option.

  8. Enter a Name for the option set The text entry field labeled New Option Set Name.

  9. Review and click Save Changes The button labeled Save Changes.

  10. Your new option set will be displayed in the drop-down The drop-down menu labeled Option Set.

Delete an Option Set

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the page you wish to edit and select the applicable content widget An example image of a widget on a page labeled Leaves and Brush Pickup Day.

  3. On the Content Appearance tab, click the three-dot menu next to the Option Set drop-down and select Delete Option Set The vertical three-dot menu to the right of the Option set dropdown, and the Delete Optio Set options.

  4. Select the Option Set Replacement that you would like to use for the content instead The text entry field labeled Option Set Replacement.

  5. Click Delete and Replace The button labeled Delete and Replace in the bottom left-corner of the Delete Option Set menu.

  6. The option set will be removed, and the replacement will be added to the content
