Delete a Page

Important Note:

To delete a page, its subpages need to be archived or deleted first.

When you delete a page, you must unpublish and remove all the versions.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your Evolve website

  2. Navigate to the desired page

  3. Click the Page button: The Page button in the left-hand menu.

  4. Under the Manage heading, select Versions: The Versions option under the Manage header.

  5. Click the Actions menu button (kebab icon) next to a published version: The three dot action menu.

  6. Select the Unpublish option: The Unpublish button.

  7. Make sure all page versions are in Draft status: A page version in draft status in the Versions list.

    Note:

    When page version is unpublished, the Draft status' purple pentagon icon appears next to the version. Versions with the Published status have a green circle icon next to them.

  8. Click the Back to Page button (arrow icon) in the Live Edit panel: The Back to Page button.

  9. Click Delete: The Delete option with a trash can icon.

  10. On the pop-up message that says "Deleting this page will delete all versions associated with it. Would you like to continue? This cannot be undone", click the Delete button: The Delete button.
