DNS propagation takes 24 to 48 hours for the root name servers and caching name servers across the entire Internet to be updated with your domain's newly added or changed DNS information. However, with a low maximum caching time, also called TTL (Time to Live), we typically see DNS changes take 5 hours or less to propagate. Purging your computer’s local cache, and your network’s local caching nameserver’s cache can result in much faster local propagation of the changed records.
