Clear Cache in Google Chrome

Instructions

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser

  2. Click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner The three dot action menu in the top right corner of the browser, below the close button.

  3. Select Delete Browsing Data The option labeled Delete browsing data.

  4. Review Basic fields The list of checkbox toggle options in the Basic tab.

    • Time range: Choose a specific time range to clear.

    • Browsing History: Clear your history and auto-complete in the address bar

    • Cookies and other site data: Signs you out of most sites

    • Cached images and files: Clears cached images and files

  5. Review other Advanced fields The list of checkbox toggle options in the Advanced tab.

    • Passwords and other sign-in data: Clears passwords

    • Autofill form data: Clears auto-fill data for forms

    • Site Settings: Clears content settings

    • Hosted app data: Clears hosted app data

  6. Click Clear Data The button labeled Clear Data.
