Edit Captions
Sign in to your CivicPlus Video site
Note:
For Web Central customers, navigate to the Modules menu and on the Content tab, select CivicPlus Video. You will be automatically signed in with your credentials.

Select the three-dot actions menu next to a video and select Accessibility

If applicable, select the caption language you want to edit

Note:
For more information on caption languages, view the Translate Captions section.
Edit the caption text, as needed

Click the X icon to remove a caption section or click the + icon to add a caption section

If applicable, adjust the time stamps for a caption

Click the Save icon

Translate Captions

Select the three-dot actions menu next to a video and select Accessibility

Click the Translate Captions icon in the top right corner

Check the boxes next to the languages you would like to add captions for

Click the Translate button

The translated captions will display in the list; select a language to edit the captions, as needed

The languages will now show as options when selecting captions on the video

Manually Add Captions

Select the three-dot actions menu next to a video and select Accessibility

You can add captions in the following ways:
Click the Upload CTT File icon to upload a captions file

Click the Add New Empty Captions icon to manually enter caption text

Select the applicable Language from the drop-down

Set the time stamp of the caption

Enter the caption text

Click the plus sign icon in the bottom right corner of the caption textbox to add additional captions

Click the Save button to save your captions
