Released Enhancements
Auto-Populated Widget Filtering & Search
We’ve enhanced Auto-populated Widgets with new filtering and search capabilities to help users find relevant information faster.
Staff can now configure widgets with:
Geolocation filtering: Narrow results by proximity to a location. This can be exposed to residents to help them find nearby libraries, parks, ballot drop boxes, or other facilities.

Widget-level search: Enable a search bar within the widget so users can quickly refine results without navigating to the full site search.

These enhancements give agencies more control over how content is displayed and make it easier for residents to quickly find information that meets their needs.
We’ve included some performance improvements to Auto-populated widgets with this update.
AI Content Advisor Permissions
We’ve introduced a new role-based visibility setting for the Content Advisor embed within Web Evolve. Site Administrators can now control which user groups are able to see and interact with the Content Advisor features. This means only users who are equipped to interpret and act on AI-driven content recommendations will have access, making the experience more secure and tailored to your team’s needs.

Accessibility
Search Icon: The Search icon is now programmatically defined as a button, includes the correct button role, and has a clear accessible name of “Search”. It is also fully keyboard accessible and can be activated using the Enter or Space key. These updates ensure a more inclusive and compliant search experience for all users.
Widget Filters: We improved keyboard navigation within Widget Filters to better support accessibility. Users can now use the arrow keys to move through filter options, with each checkbox announced as focus changes. Pressing Enter or the spacebar selects the highlighted filter and announces the updated results count. This update makes filtering faster and more accessible for all users.
