Released Enhancements

Search Now Includes Content Aliases

Evolve search indexing now includes maintained content aliases with their associated content. Residents can find content using alternate names, while alias matches continue to resolve to the original content without creating duplicate search results.

Internal Enhancements

This information is internal only, do not share outside of CivicPlus.

CMS Nested-Cache Deadlock Risk Reduced

Addressed a nested cache miss that could deadlock a {{glossary.CMS}} pod. The fix reduces request contention during cache recovery and supports more reliable service behavior under concurrent traffic.

Guest Page Caching Now Reduces Duplicate Cache Entries

Guest pages are cached by the content they render, so tracking parameters, junk query strings, and deep links can share one cache entry when they resolve to the same page. Alias pages are now cached too, improving response times for visitors who use human-readable URLs.

Page-Cache Refills Now Protect SQL During Traffic Spikes

When a page cache entry needs to be refilled, page-level {{glossary.SQL}} reads are served from Redis instead of repeatedly querying the database. This helps protect the database during floods and reduces unnecessary load from simultaneous cache misses.

HCMS Schema Rebuilds Now Run in the Background

Whole-site search-index rebuilds triggered by {{variable.HCMS}} schema changes now run as background work instead of blocking the initiating request. This reduces timeout risk and allows larger indexing operations to complete without interrupting normal administrative workflows.

CPUI Builds Now Use the Vite 8 Toolchain

The CPUI (CivicPlus {{glossary.UI}} build moved to Vite 8, improving front-end development performance and enabling faster test execution so teams can validate changes more efficiently.

MWEO-1181 | Content Template CSS tools now work more reliably: A service-worker origin issue in Content Template could block the {{glossary.CSS}} worker, preventing reliable CSS manipulation.
- Expected Functionality: CSS manipulation features, including color settings and the color picker, now work reliably in Content Template.

Internal Only:
This information is internal only, do not share outside of CivicPlus.

MWEO-1044 | Guest SSR proxy support is available per tenant: The CMS.EnableFullPageSsr toggle did not support serving guest visitors through the full-page SSR (server-side rendering) pipeline on a per-tenant basis.
- Expected Functionality: Enabled tenants can now serve supported guest pages through the full-page SSR pipeline, while signed-in users, previews, excluded routes, and disabled tenants continue through the legacy path. If the Node rendering service fails, requests fall back to the legacy renderer.
MWEO-1044 | Evolve SSR and delivery foundation advanced: Guest-cache purge handling was not in place for page publication, updates, movement, deletion, visibility, and permission changes.
- Expected Functionality: Delivery work now includes guest-cache purge handling for these events, with cache headers, compression, readiness checks, and hydration verification supporting safer and more consistent page delivery.
MWEO-1078 | CrowdStrike Falcon deployment advanced across Evolve infrastructure: Endpoint security coverage was not yet centralized across all in-scope Evolve hosts and workloads.
- Expected Functionality: Deployment of the CrowdStrike Falcon agent continues across in-scope Evolve hosts and workloads, supporting centralized endpoint security coverage for the Evolve platform.
COMP-44 | Dependency license review recorded: License review for the direct axe-core 4.1dependency under Mozilla Public License 2.0 had not been documented.
- Expected Functionality: The license review is now documented, including applicable notice and source-disclosure considerations if the dependency is modified or a derivative work is distributed.
