Released Enhancements

Accessibility Updates

  • FAQs Page: We updated the label for the submit search button on the FAQs display to say ‘Apply’ to make search actions more predictable to assistive technologies.

  • Print to PDF: We updated the label for the ‘Print to PDF’ icon to provide clearer context for users with assistive technologies.

  • Mega Menus: We have removed the "menubar" and "menuitem" ARIA roles from the Mega Menus. Keyboard navigation remains fully supported; users can continue to tab through links, use Enter and Space to activate items, and rely on Esc, arrow keys, and other standard shortcuts to navigate menus efficiently. This update makes the menu structure more predictable for assistive technologies, while preserving all expected keyboard functionality.

Upgrade to Drupal 11

We’ve upgraded your site to Drupal 11 to ensure continued security coverage and long-term platform stability. This update also brings performance improvements that help your site run more efficiently. There are no changes to features or functionality as part of this release.

Forms Display

We’ve updated the Forms display to improve both usability and consistency.

This release includes a series of accessibility enhancements to ensure the list of forms is more usable for all visitors, including those using assistive technologies. These improvements help align with accessibility best practices and provide a more inclusive experience.

In addition, the visual layout and formatting of Forms have been updated to match other displays across the site. This creates a more consistent and cohesive user experience, making it easier for residents to navigate and interact with content.
