Resetting Your Password and Password Requirements

Important Note

This article pertains to Drupal 7 Open customers only. If you are a customer with a Drupal 9 or Drupal 10 Web Open site, please refer to the Forgot or Reset a Password article on the CivicPlus Help Center.

Password Reset

  1. Go to the login screen

  2. Click "Request New Password"

  3. Enter your username or e-mail address

  4. Check the Re-Captcha checkbox and complete the required activity if prompted

  5. Then hit "E-mail new password".

  6. You will then receive an email that includes a link to log in and reset your password.

Password Requirements

We recommend using the following criteria for your password:

  • At least one lowercase letter

  • At least one upper-case letter

  • At least one number

  • At least one symbol or special character

  • At least 8 characters long
