Set Request Numbering

In this article, you will learn more about Request Numbering, such as reset dates, configuration, and permissions.

Important Notes

  • Request numbers reset at the beginning of each year and use sequential numbers from that point. For example, at the beginning of 2024, request numbering will start at 24-1.

  • Request numbering cannot be changed after the portal goes live.

Instructions

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Click Portal Settings on the Admin drop-down menu Portal Settings option in Admin menu.

  3. Click on Request Numbering under the Policies heading in the left-hand navigation menu. Request Numbering is highlighted in the left-hand navigation menu under the 'Policies' heading.

  4. Enter the desired Request Start Number. The input field for the Request Start Number is highlighted below the 'Request Numbering' heading. The number 1 is entered into the field.

    Note:

    This is a required field as marked by the asterisk next to the field name.

  5. Click the blue Save button below the Request Start Number text field. The blue Save button is selected below the Request Start Number.
