FAQ
Can we design different membership cards for different facilities or member types?
Yes. Card designs can feature various header hues or background visuals. Each card may contain one logo and one customer avatar. See our training library lesson on Configuring Templates or our help center article about creating a membership card/template.
Can Date of Birth be printed on membership ID cards?
No. Date of Birth fields cannot currently be added to printed membership cards.
Can we scan barcodes using an iPad or iPhone camera?
Mobile devices are capable of scanning membership barcodes and tickets in mobile format. However, they are unable to scan UPC for point-of-sale items. Changing the device to desktop format does not allow for camera-based UPC scanning.
What hardware is recommended for scanning and printing membership cards?
Supported scanners, card printers, and related hardware are listed in the Recreation Management Hardware Recommendations Guide.
How can we preserve barcodes already printed on cards from a previous system?
Enter the existing barcode numbers into the customer membership details so users can continue using their old physical cards without reprinting. Please see our help center article about Editing Existing Member Numbers for a step by step guide.
How do we avoid incorrect check‑ins when duplicate barcodes exist?
Navigate to your organization options in the Configuration module and disable the setting “Always Auto-Checkin First Exact Match for Valid Membership If Possible”. This ensures staff can select the correct membership when more than one record has the same number.
